a good time in Napoli; I think, even
though I have been there many times,
there are still so many places of culture
to see that make a return worthwhile
Bonapace was - as usual
- a very nice place to stay, like a
little peaceful island where you can
recover from long walks.
nice to feel warm hospitality and nicely
designed rooms with atmosphere. Thanks
for the information you gave us.
We would like to return to Bonapace
and see that it remains constantly the
same place as before.
Bonjour vous deux. J’étais
à votre BB en juin dernier, l’homme
à vélo, du Canada. Une nuit
mémorable, l’été est arrivé à 04h
avec grand fracas…pluie et grêle qui
était encore présente au matin. J’avais
quand même eu une bonne nuit dans
une chambre confortable. Je vous
avais parlé d’une chanson d’un
groupe canadien qui parle de Napoli.
Je vous l’envoie, je vous avais
promis de vous le faire écouter….
Par ailleurs, je le répète, vous
avez un gite charmant, un havre de
paix au cœur d’une ville folle! Une
ville aux différentes facettes qu’il
faut tout de même voir et découvrir.
La chanson relate la rencontre d’une
personne avec un ange à Napoli. Et
bien moi, j’ai eu la chance d’en
rencontrer deux! En passant, la
suggestion de prendre le train jusqu’à
Vico Equense était parfaite. J’ai
fait une route mémorable, à vélo, à
partir de cette ville et pour les
200 km qui ont suivi.
giornata e ancora grazie.
Nice place to feel like home / W&S,

The Bonapace is really a nice place
to stay. In spite of the outside area
(which gives guests not an inviting
impression) the inside of the accomodation
is really a little piece of jewellery.
The rooms are very clean and quiet,
breakfast is very good. The staff, especially
the owner, Arrigo is very friendly and
helpful and gives you a warm welcome.
The price is also oK. First you can't
believe that such a place is found in
naples (everyone who was there can expect
what I mean), but in the B&B Bonapace
Porta Nolana you really feel like coming
We will be back!
Best B&B yet!"

Bonapace B&B was a fantastic little
"home away from home". Great price,
beautiful rooms, clean and comfortable
beds, and delicious breakfast. After
travelling for 6 months all over Europe,
staying between 2 and 4 star hotels
and B&B's, Bonapace was the best for
value for money and comfort. Arrigo,
the host is really friendly and welcoming.
Their honest and helpful staff made
this experience all the more memorable
for us. It is a great spot to meet other
travllers as the breakfast room is warm
and cosy. I highly recommend this B&B
for backpackers, couples, and older
couples of any nationality! If only
we could get this type of service in
all the cities we visited! We will definetely

Hotelempfehlung Bonapace Porta Nolana:
Von: Vera | Donnerstag, 03. Aug 2006
Sehr zu emfehlen ist das kleine Hotel
Bonapace Porta Nolana im Herzen Neapels,
genau zwischen dem Hauptbahnhof und
dem Bahnhof für die Vesus-Bahn.
Im Hotel Bonapace Porta Nolana haben
wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das kleine
Hotel liegt zentral, ist super günstig,
macht einen extrem sicheren Eindruck,
ist blitzsauber und der Besitzer/Gastgeber
spricht mehrere Sprachen, unter anderem
auch einiges an Deutsch.
Es gibt mehrere "Bonapaces" in und bei
Neapel, die alle von der selben Familie
betrieben werden. Das Gastgebersein
liegt diesen Menschen ganz offensichtlich
Die Zimmer an der Porta Nolana sind
modern eingerichtet, liegen im zweiten
Stock eines Hinterhauses, daher recht
ruhig. Aus manchen Zimmern kann man
sogar den Vesuv sehen. Zum Frühstück
gibt es ganz viel Leckeres, sehr individuell.
Der Betreiber ist sehr höflich, freundlich
und praktisch. Wir konnten unser Gepäck
auch nach dem Auschecken da lassen und
es erst zur Abfahrt abholen. Wir bekamen
einen extra Schlüssel, denn zu der Zeit
war niemand mehr da.
Alles war sehr zu unserer Zufriedenheit!

Bonapace B&B Porta Nolana is perfectly
situated for people who want to be in
the center of everything. Walking distance
to the two railwaystations makes it
easy to go to Rome, Pompeji and Sorrento.
Staying at Bonapace B&B made it possible
for us to walk right into the intense
markets and take walks to most points
of interest. The rooms are nice, clean
and surprisingly quiet. Good breakfast
with other guests around the big table.
A very nice and helpful englishspeaking
owner ment a lot for us and the athmosphere.
We more than enjoyed our stay in wonderful
and very interesting Naples. Maria and

At a great price of 60 Euros for a double
with private bathroom, we got a very
cute, extremely clean and renovated
room. The furniture was good quality,
as was the bedding. The room and hotel

I have stayed in other European hotels
in this price range and this is by far
the best quality place for the money.
The outside of the hotel isn't the greatest
looking, but inside is very cozy and
A great breakfast is included and the
hotel is just 2 blocks to the smaller
train station which takes you easily
to Pompei, Ercolano, Sorrento, etc.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead
of 5 is because it is still a budget
hotel. But for its class - it deserves

We were more than happy with Bonapace
Porta Nolana - we had a very friendly
welcome, excellent instructions for
our whirlwind tour of Naples and some
very thoughtful security advice. Arrigo
also gave us a recommendation for dinner
which was excellent (and cheap). Our
room was very comfortable and quiet,
and had enough space for us and all
our stuff. The bed was really comfortable
and the sheets were fantastic - the
best in Italy!! We had no difficulty
finding the hotel, it was an easy walk
from the station; although the entrance
was described as not being the best,
I really didn't find it that bad at
all. We had to leave early in the morning
and asked if we could have breakfast
earlier than normal. Not only was this
not a problem, but it was ready even
earlier than expected and included freshly
baked croissants, fresh rolls, several
different jams and spreads,cereal and
delicious cappuccini - it was fantastic
and we really appreciated the effort.
I thoroughly recommend Bonapace Porta
Nolana and will definitely stay there
again when next in Naples. Thanks Arrigo!!

Sehr freundliches B&B, angenehme Atmosphäre.
Für Bahnreisende perfekt: 5 Gehminuten
vom/zum Hauptbahnhof (Garibaldi). Bahnhof
nach Pompej in der Nähe. Bahnhofsviertel
schmutzig und einschüchternd. Vorsicht
vor Trickbetrügern und Taschendieben!
Eingangsbereich vom B&B komisch, aber
innen sehr schön, sauber und ruhig!
Sehr freundliches Personal. Preiswert!

What a fantastic place. The room was
enchanting, way beyond what you should
expect at a price like this. Excellent
staff, Arrigo (the owner) and a young
man (whose name I can't recall) were
both extremely friendly and helpful.
Both spoke very good english as well.
Thank you very much, we'll be back!

One of our best locations in Italy!
Arrigo provided a warm and very useful
greeting- not only the map of Napoli
but also indications about what and
how to visit places, and especially
how to get there. Location is very convenient,
and despite what others have said IT
IS NOT SO DIFFICULT to climb those stairs-
not if you did it in Italian campanillas
(and paid for this as well...). Yes,
the surrounding area is not great, but
you are near the railway station to
visit Pompei, and we visited all the
historic center in one (long...) afternoon.
One advice: do not accept the room near
the breakfast-space- it gets quite noisy
early in the morning...

Feels like beeing at home this cosy
place. As the owner are so kind and
helpful, the rooms are clean and quiet
and the breakfast is delicious and plentiful,
you would like to stay there longer
than intended. The first impression
of the surrounding might be disincentive
for anxious people, but for getting
to know Napoli and for feeling the spirit
of the town it is really a perfect starting
point. Go there - you will love it!!!

This place was perfect for what we paid
for it.. room was nice, breakfast was
great.. close to teh train station..
perfect! only thing is that from teh
outside, we were scared to go upstairs!
The whole area around the train station
is just very dirty, including the front
door and bottom floor of this place.
But once you get up and inside the B&B,
it is well worth the stay!

Don't be put off by the surroundings
and location. A challenge to find but
once you've climbed all the stairs you
will not be disappointed. Really superb
in every way.

all expectations. The owner gave great

I stayed at this B&B with two other
ladies in a triple room for 4 nights.
The owner (Arrigo)is very friendly,
funny and helpful. You can feel at home
and everything in the B&B is so neat
and tidy, and more importantly warm.
Really value for money. You can get
more when you ask for some good tips
of tour, food at good prices and internet
centre nearby. The breakfast is exceeding
our expectation and of good quality.
We will definitly be glad to recommend
Bonapace Porta Nolana to our friends
visiting Naples. For sure if we have
another chance to visit Naples, Bonapace
Porta Nolana is our first pick.
